Pitch

A turn-based deduction game where you play as a detective hunting hidden vampires. Track movements, use special cards, and outsmart the undead before you become their next victim!

Description. A Game of Shadows, Guesses, and Clever Moves

Vesper's Hunt is a compact, turn-based deduction game where players take on the role of either a cunning vampire or a determined detective. Set inside a gothic manor full of mortals and monsters, each round challenges players to observe movements, deduce intentions, and make surgical strikes before it’s too late.

As the detective, your mission is to uncover and eliminate the hidden vampires before they overrun the mortals—or worse, get to you first. If you play as a vampire, your goal is to blend in, spread your curse, and outmaneuver your opponent. Victory depends on how well you read your opponent—and how well you hide your own intentions.

Each game lasts about 15 minutes, making it a fast-paced yet deeply tactical experience. With three levels of difficulty and both single-player and multiplayer modes, the game offers endless replayability for casual players and seasoned strategists alike.

How It Plays

Each match unfolds in repeating cycle:

  1. Two move turns, where characters are shifted across rooms
  2. One hunt turn, where special cards come into play—and the stakes rise.
  3. Vampires move and hunt first, forcing the detective to anticipate and adapt.
  4. In higher difficulty levels, werewolves join the hunt, doors can be locked, mortals can be protected with garlic, and new layers of deduction emerge.

Asymmetric & Evolving

The asymmetry deepens as players switch roles. Vampires and detectives have entirely different hunt strategies, and each level introduces new tools, extra rooms, and unique win conditions. Bluffing and baiting become essential, especially in multiplayer.

With an average playtime of 10–15 minutes, Vespers Hunt is built for quick, tense sessions where mind games are as sharp as your cards.

A Word From the Developer

"I love puzzles and strategic systems, especially when I can twist them into something unexpected. Vesper's Hunt was born from tinkering with tabletop mechanics, then flipping them into a compact digital duel. It’s about deduction, pressure, and learning to read the other player better than they read you."
